During the video shoot in front of the Friedenskirche, Jessie and Petra Rennings simply started to sing. No rehearsal, no microphone, right in the middle of the crossroads.
On the evening of 17 August, our heart shone on the tower of the Friedenskirche – exactly two months before the benefit concert on 17 October 2026. All we actually wanted to do was film a few short videos for social media.
Then Jessie and Petra Rennings started to sing. “Walking in Memphis” by Marc Cohn, in two-part harmony, with no rehearsal and no microphone – at a crossroads in Ludwigsburg, while the last few cars drove past in the background.
Sometimes the moments nobody planned are the most beautiful.
